Judicial Personal Assistant - Wellington Tribunals Unit  - 12 Month Fixed-Term

Are you an experienced and professional Personal Assistant looking for a new and interesting role in the Justice sector?

We are seeking an individual to offer high-level executive administration support in the capacity of a Judicial Personal Assistant to the Principal Disputes Referee and Principal Tenancy Adjudicator. As a Judicial Personal Assistant, you will be closely involved with the Judiciary on a daily basis.

This pivotal role encompasses various responsibilities, including drafting judgments, maintaining records, scheduling appointments, coordinating travel arrangements, and facilitating meetings seamlessly. You will also need to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, adept prioritisation of tasks, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. The incumbent will play a crucial role in providing efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to Tribunal members and other Judicial Officers.

This is a 12-month fixed-term/secondment position.

 

Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will be required to have:

  • Extensive experience providing executive support within the court systems or a legal firm
  • Advanced level of proficiency in office procedures, business processes, and database management
  • Advanced IT capability in a wide range of applications, plus the ability to quickly learn and keep up to date with constantly changing technology trends
  • Impressive organisational skills and impeccable spelling and grammar
  • Composure under pressure and adaptability

Utu ā-tau/Salary

The appointing salary for this position will be between $60,729 and $80,794 based on skills and experience.
