Te Au Reka represents the opportunity of a lifetime, making a profound difference to those who work in and interact with our courts and tribunals. We are seeking to modernise the administration of justice by replacing highly manual, time-consuming, paper-based process with a new digital case management solution transforming the way people access and experience justice in Aotearoa New Zealand. 

Te Au Reka is a large, complex and unique programme spanning the courts and tribunals of New Zealand. In delivering Te Au Reka, we are seeking to build the Ministry's capability to deliver complex programmes of change. Working on Te Au Reka will give you the opportunity to use your knowledge and experience, while developing new ways of working. Te Haeata | The Opportunity

We're looking for engaging and adaptable learning facilitators to join our Te Au Reka programme team. These roles will play a critical role in delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences to a diverse range of audiences, including Ministry leaders, judiciary, legal professionals, third-party providers, and participants.

You'll facilitate operational, technical, and behavioural learning, delivered both in-person and virtually. You'll support learners to build confidence and competence, adapting your delivery style to meet their needs and ensuring learning remains relevant and impactful.

In addition to facilitation, you'll contribute to the development and refinement of learning resources, such as session plans for workshops and social learning initiatives (including communities of practice).

Ō pūkenga | Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  • 3+ years' experience delivering learning or facilitation in a professional or educational setting, ideally in a complex operating environment and preferably experience in delivering learning to leaders.
  • Applied understanding of adult learning principles and facilitation techniques, with a focus on learner engagement and outcomes.
  • Proficiency in virtual and face-to-face delivery methods, with the ability to adapt to technological advancements.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development and refinement of learning resources to effectively support learning outcomes (e.g. session plans for workshops and social learning initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong self-management and organisational skills, with the ability to travel nationally as required.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development.
  • Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to its application in Learning and Development.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $85,562 and $109,862 per annum, based on skills and experience.
