Senior Policy Advisor - Wellington, Fixed Term Full Time

Te Haeata/The Opportunity 

Contribute to policy that shapes justice in Aotearoa.

We're looking for fixed-term Senior Policy Advisors, until June 2027, to join our policy teams and deliver on specific work programmes spanning Human Rights, Access to Justice, and both District and Senior Courts. 

You'll bring strong policy capability to a defined piece of work, delivering high-quality advice and contributing to solutions within your team's areas of focus.

Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience

You'll bring strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent relationship management and communication, the ability to prioritise and deliver on a defined work programme and sound knowledge of the machinery of Government. A relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) and the right to work in New Zealand are essential. Legislative process experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

Utu ā-tau/Salary 

The appointing salary for this role will be between $112,766 to $145,388 pro rata, and will be based on skills and experience.
