Court Registry Support Officer – Rotorua

If so, we are looking for a talented individual to join us in Rotorua.
As a Court Registry Support Officer, you will support the Court's day-to-day operations by supporting the administration function and providing customer service. You will work closely with Court Registry Officers and support them while they take court and manage files.
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
As a Court Registry Support Officer, you will play a vital role in the daily operation of the courts. You will work closely with Court Registry Officers, the Judiciary, justice sector partners, and court users. No two days are the same, you will help ensure court services run efficiently, professionally, and with care.
Day to day, your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Support courtroom operations and assist during court hearings
- Support Judges and Court Registry Officers both in and out of the courtroom
- Provide professional frontline customer service
- Manage court files, correspondence, and registry documentation
- Coordinate mail, supplies and administrative processes
- Support the jury service function and jurors
- Maintain accurate records and data across court systems

To be successful in this role, you will have proven customer service experience. You will need to be confident, able to multitask, flexible and easily adapt to change. You will also enjoy a challenge and be motivated to learn.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The remuneration band for this role is $56,343 to $74,416. Please note that the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
