We are looking to fill a number of Claims Assessor vacancies within the Compensation team.


The Compensation team was established in July 2017 to process compensation claims resulting from Biosecurity Responses. Currently, the team is focused on a number of biosecurity responses, although a significant proportion of our work is directly associated with the Mycoplasma Bovis Response.

About the role:

You will assess claims relating to any of our current Biosecurity Responses and identify the timeline of events relating to the response, collect evidence and work with other key team members to evaluate criteria and prepare a robust and sound claim assessments. Key relationships will be both internal and external stakeholders, legal and finance advisors. A crucial part of the role will be managing relationships and working collaboratively. You'll be part of a supportive and dynamic team who will be liaising with the Response Team and other business areas within MPI. You will be well supported by team management, reporting directly to your Team Leader.

You will demonstrate sound problem-solving, analytical skills, with a high level of verbal and written communication. You will also be a quick learner with experience delivering quality work within deadlines and under pressure. A high level of personal resilience, ownership of planning/ prioritisation and initiative is required to be successful in this role.

Salary range for this role is $52k to $68k depending on skills and experience.
