We are looking for an Executive Coordinator to provide dedicated support to a Regulation & Assurance Branch Director, management teams, and Regulation & Assurance staff as required. If you are proactive, focussed on solutions and enjoy working in partnership and being one step ahead then please read on.

You will be responsible for the Director's daily schedule to ensure a seamless and clear flow of information and related commitments through effective diary, event and meeting management and the provision of effective personal assistance/ secretarial services.

You will have a reputation for being the go-to-person who can juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a professional and upbeat manner.  Your eye for the important will allow you to coordinate a busy diary and keep track of the business of the branch,

You'll undertake all the usual Executive Coordinator duties and you need to be able to show initiative, learn how the Director operates and make decisions on their behalf within agreed parameters. 

Our ideal candidate will have worked in the public sector and have a good understanding of the machinery of government. In addition, you will have the ability to prioritise, remain calm and focussed under pressure, have previous experience providing 1:1 support at a senior level as well as providing excellent support to the rest of the team. If you have these skills and a track record of developing and maintaining systems and procedures, understanding and respecting protocols then we want to hear from you.

Of course you will have the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion, confidence to operate in a degree of ambiguity, be flexible and adaptable.  Your role may involve coordinating of team functions, managing reports, collating data, providing the wider team with support, arranging travel. 

This role requires excellent relationship management skills as you will be interacting with senior level managers both within MPI and externally.  You will have a reputation for being the go-to person, who exceeds all expectations whilst juggling multiple priorities and deadlines. 

If you have good people skills, are agile, flexible and can handle a fast paced environment then this is the role for you.
