Job Description

Support Officer – 20 Hrs per week based in Whangarei 

  • 20 hrs per week, ideally over 3 days and open to negotiation
  • Great administration variety within the Fisheries Compliance Team
  • Be part of the MPI team helping to grow and protect NZ

 

About the Role

There's lots of variety in this part time role based in MPI's office in Whangarei. You'll support the smooth running of the team's office by providing data base administration, logistical coordination, building facilities and face to face customer service. Responsibilities include:

  • Daily data entry into a variety of databases
  • Point of contact for building maintenance
  • Coordination and oversight of the MPI's Vehicles
  • Administration support to the Fisheries Compliance Team 

 

As an experienced administrator, you'll bring a level of professionalism, calm and maturity to the role. You'll be friendly and engaging and able to handle sensitive information. You'll be a great organiser and confident using Microsoft Word and new systems. A high level of detail is a must for this role.

Indicative starting salary range for this role is approx. $48,000 to $54,000 pro rata,  depending on skills and experience.

Security checks
