Job Description

Fixed Term Contract to December 2020

About the Role 

You'll work closely with the Logistics team to deliver asset and stores management making sure all of our assets and/or stores purchased and used in the programme are purchased, recorded, tracked, valued and disposed of in line with NZ Government and MPI specific policies. The M .bovis programme operates New Zealand wide and has vast portfolio of assets and stores utilised both on farm, in regional and central locations. 

Supporting and advising the manager and team around purchasing decisions and stores management whilst operating within the MPI and wider Government framework and making sure our systems are working as they should be –you'll also have a view to developing and improving these. You'll be responsible for managing and maintaining the National and Regional stores for the M .bovis programme. 

About You

You'll have a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, qualifications in Asset management, Purchasing or Warehousing is desirable. Key to your success will be your knowledge of asset purchasing and related functions, and you'll have an eye for developing efficient and effective business processes.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range for this role is $50 to $55K depending on skills and experience.
