Job Description

Are you a plain English champion?

Can you transform complex information into crystal-clear web content?

Can you consistently deliver high-quality web content under pressure?

Our Digital Channels team is looking for an experienced web content writer to write plain English content for the Ministry for Primary Industries website. This is a fulltime opportunity, based in Wellington.

Your web content writing experience will see you working across the organisation to develop content, identifying gaps in existing information, communicating complex processes so they are easy to understand, and working with subject matter experts to source and prepare content for publication.

We are looking for someone with web-writing experience, a sound knowledge of current government web standards and practices, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. It would help if you have previously worked in a large, complex organisation.
