The ICT Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of digital projects to meet MPI outcomes and enable benefits realisation.
The purpose of this role is to provide leadership and work within a strategic context, to manage and deliver large, complex, critical and/or multiple projects on time, to approved budget and scope to realise the identified benefits stated in the Business Case.
The incumbent will be able to operate in an environment that requires them to deliver projects using project management frameworks and methodologies, that will support both agile and waterfall delivery. You will be part of the Digital Portfolio Office team which includes a growing team of ICT project managers.
You will actively manage digital projects to ensure that agreed scope is delivered on schedule, to budget and to the required quality to enable benefits realisation. You will have experience in ensuring quality and governance standards are being adhered to throughout the project lifecycle and leading teams through change. You will be an excellent communicator up, down and across teams and reporting lines across the organisation. This could look like effective reporting and getting decisions made at governance boards, working in partnership with vendors to ensure MPI gets value for money and business problems are solved, and leading cohesive project teams made up of technical and non technical people.
We are looking for a champion with an ICT background, excellent project management skills and excellent stakeholder management skills and a team player who can make positive contributions to our team culture.

- Ability to establish strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels within the organization and able to work collaboratively.
- Strong project planning and delivery expertise to ensure dependencies, risks and issues, scope and budget management, change impacts are accounted for and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Demonstrated exposure with Project Server or a Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) tool.
- Great team player and able to effectively lead project teams.
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal.

The Digital Portfolio Office at MPI is in its setup phase and will provide oversight of all digital projects and programmes at MPI. This covers the end-to-end planning, delivery and ongoing assurance and benefits tracking of all digital projects and programmes.
