Senior Adviser Risk Capability Development
Use your excellent communication skills and capability development experience to contribute to the success of our new ‘Plan safe, be safe | Mahere haumaru, kia haumaru' programme.
Location: Wellington preferred but other locations will be considered.
Salary Range: Circa $92,073 to $108,321 depending on skills & experience

Then we have an exciting opportunity on our new Compliance Risk Management Team as a Senior Adviser Risk Capability Development. You will be responsible for driving and delivering a capability development program that meets strategic and policy requirements and equips our staff to be safe at work. Contributing to the Compliance Services team getting and using - best practice, the correct tools, and the right support to administer New Zealand's regulations safely.
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
As a Senior Adviser Risk Capability Development, you will design and monitor the capability underpinning our Health and Safety framework. Delivering a training and assessment programme that produces excellence and confidence in risk management by our workforce. You will have the chance to engage with staff throughout the country as they work across the primary industries. The role will give you the opportunity to create change at the ground level as we launch our programme.

The successful candidate will:
- Have skills and experience in designing and delivering risk management capability
- Demonstrate excellent organisation and planning skills
- Possess intra and inter-personal skills along with good communication and facilitator skills
- Be able to deliver and maintain concise professional documentation
- Engage with a range of frontline managers and staff across regulatory compliance.
- Drive capability uplift to enable our people to work in a safe and healthy way.
- Promote whanaungatanga through learning and the sharing of experiences.
- Be part of a dynamic team working collaboratively on a broad programme of work
