Salary band & range: General Salary Range F: $76,463 to $89,215 per annum depending on skills and experience
About the Role - Kōrero mō te Tūranga
We're looking for an Analyst to join our Nelson based Aquaculture Strategy & Development Team.
As an analyst in the aquaculture development team your role will be focused on helping to deliver the aquaculture development plan. You will do this by building effective working relationships within MPI, across government, with stakeholders and working with your wider team to provide advice to leaders.
About You - Mōu
You may be a recent graduate or be early in your career with work experience in a government role or in the aquaculture industry.
You will ideally have:
- a qualification in marine science/science, law, resource management or a related discipline
- attention to detail, good judgement and a positive can-do attitude
- analytical and problem-solving skills
- writing and verbal communication skills

This position sits within the Aquaculture Directorate, part of the Fisheries New Zealand business unit within MPI. We are a diverse, fun and engaging group with a range of backgrounds including industry, science, planning and government.
