About the Role - Kōrero mō te Tūranga
We're looking for a Learning Programme Coordinator to join MPI's Learning & Development team. This is a varied and people-focused role where you'll help deliver learning programmes that support capability development across the organisation. You'll be a key point of contact for learners, support virtual and in-person learning experiences, and help ensure training runs smoothly from start to finish. This role is part-time, working 20 hours per week, and includes Friday as a required working day.
Whether you're coordinating logistics, supporting learning programmes, or helping facilitators deliver engaging virtual sessions, you'll play an important role in creating positive learning experiences for people across MPI. An event planning, administration, or coordination background could be a great fit for this role.
You'll show your skills to:
- Coordinate learning programmes and course logistics
- Support virtual learning sessions as a producer
- Manage learner communications and enquiries
- Assist delivery of learning programmes
- Work closely with facilitators and the wider L&D team
- Help create engaging learning experiences across MPI
You will occasionally support residential programmes which may include rare overnight stays with accommodation provided.

You must have a current full New Zealand driver licence (not temporary, learner, or provisional) or equivalent full foreign drivers licence, and any endorsements required for the type of driving you'll be doing.
