An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse ideally with paediatric experience to lead the team in our Paediatric Service.

The Paediatric Clinical Nurse Manager has responsibility of the acute paediatric ward, Special Care Baby Unit and community paediatric services including the Child Development Service.

The paediatric service is part of the Maternal, Child and Youth service and the clinical nurse manager will be part of the leadership team of this service.

The successful applicant will be required to work full time.

We are looking for a motivated health professional to lead our child and family focused team.

This position will provide you with the opportunity to provide leadership in a multi-disciplinary team which:

• Provides safe quality care to patients
• Promotes opportunities for ongoing development of professional knowledge, skills and abilities
• Aims to foster collaborative relationships with pepe/ tamariki/whanau and the community
• Committed to He Hapori Ora – Thriving Communities You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a skilled team.

You will need to have great work organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, committed to whanau centred care, with an on-going commitment to service improvement.

We will provide you with an orientation package and ongoing support to develop your leadership skills in.
