Full time, shifts and on-call duties

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic New Zealand registered MIT's to join our CT and general x-ray team. Ideally, we are looking for someone with CT experience however we would consider training the right person.

Are you looking for a good work life balance?

Whanganui is a great little progressive city with a friendly chilled vibe. Great café culture, schools and sporting opportunities with some of the best all year-round weather in the country. The rugged west coast beaches on your doorstep allow for all year surfing, fishing or just walking for miles. Skiing and hiking on mount Ruapehu just an hour up the road, Whanagnui has all your bases covered for a family friendly lifestyle.

Whanganui's reputation for having some of the best value-for-money housing in New Zealand is another big-plus for many people settling in the city. Affordable prices enable many people to buy a ‘life-style block' which they couldn't have considered if they'd moved to a larger city. With most suburbs only 15 minutes from the central business district or Whanganui Hospital residents are able to make the most of their leisure time.

The Whanganui DHB Radiology department is a friendly team with a great working environment focused on improving patient care. We have one Siemens CT scanner on which we perform a large variety of examinations including Trauma, angiography, colonography, cardiac's, oncology and community work. The general department currently uses CR but DR equipment has been ordered and will be installed this year.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced fun supportive environment where you are encouraged to work independently as well as in a team, this could be the job for you.

The role currently requires some shift work and call in the evenings and weekends.
