About the Role

We are seeking casual Registered Nurses to provide high-quality nursing care and support across a range of clinical settings within Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Whanganui.

This casual position offers flexibility and variety, providing opportunities to work across inpatient, outpatient, community, and other clinical services as required. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care while supporting the efficient operation of health services across the district.

As a casual team member, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and supportive colleagues across a variety of clinical areas. This role offers flexibility while contributing to services that make a meaningful difference to patients, whānau, and communities.

About You

• Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate and registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
• Demonstrates practice consistent with the competencies and expectations of the Registered Nurse scope of practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, whānau, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating sound clinical judgement and decision-making.
• Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work across different clinical environments and services.
• Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft Office applications and electronic clinical systems.
• Previous nursing experience in hospital, community, or other healthcare settings is desirable.
