Registered Nurse, District Nursing Service at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral, Manawatu / Whanganui

About the Role

The District Nursing Service is looking for a registered nurse to join the Palmerston North team. 0.8 FTE but this could be negotiable for the right candidate. Hours of work will be rostered shifts between 0700 and 2300hrs Monday-Sunday.

The service provides a wide range of specialised nursing care in the community between 0800-2300hrs, seven days a week, from seven sites across MidCentral Health region. We are an enthusiastic team with a keen focus on the delivery of innovative, specialised nursing care in the community setting. We are committed to quality and service improvement processes which are well established.

About you

We require team players who can demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills and who are committed to the provision of quality nursing care in the community.
 
Applicants will need to have advanced skills and current knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Wound care, Palliative care, or Intravenous therapy. A current practising certificate and current driver's licence are also essential.
