About the role
Applications are sought for the role of Executive Assistant to support the Group Director Operations, Hospital and Specialist Services (GDO, HSS) at MidCentral.
The Executive Assistant (EA) is responsible for providing effective and highly confidential executive support and enablement to the Group Director Operations. As the EA you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the Group Director Operation's office, ensuring communications are efficient and support the application of all Health New Zealand policies, processes and tools, including proactive issues management, relationship management to enable priorities and business objectives to be successfully achieved
You will also be responsible for:
- Managing constant conflicting priorities
- Proactive stakeholder relationship management
- Act and communicate on behalf of the Group Director Operations
- Actively manage future milestones
- Plan and manage events, workshops and meetings including minute taking where required
About you
We are looking for a highly skilled, experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic EA who can work at pace, manage critical priorities and provide seamless administration support whilst maintaining high professional standards. The successful candidate will need to be professional, flexible, adaptable, resilient and responsive and be able to work under pressure. Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills are critical, along with advanced skills in MS office.
Whilst experience in the health system is preferred it is not essential.
