About the Role

As a Kaiwhakaako Tapuhi | Nurse Educator, you will play a key role in supporting the professional development of our nursing workforce. This position offers the opportunity to design, implement, evaluate, and revise continuing education programmes that prepare nurses for an ever-changing healthcare environment.

About the Team/Service

You will be part of the Ngā Manu Teka Practice Development Unit, reporting to the Kaiwhakahaere Kaiwhakaako Tapuhi Nurse Educator Lead and working alongside other senior nurses and educators. We are a collaborative, values-driven team that works hard to make a difference. Our values: Integrity, Innovation, Respect, and Teamwork.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a NZ Registered Nurse with a current Practising Certificate
  • Has experience in Emergency Department nursing
  • Is an excellent communicator and relationship builder
  • Demonstrates a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
  • Has the ability to engage and motivate others in education
