About the Role

As an Administrator/Receptionist, you will:

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner
  • Manage enquiries and provide accurate information
  • Process admissions, discharges, and transfers in the Patient Management System
  • Coordinate orderly dispatch and retrieve clinical files after hours
  • Handle cash transactions and daily reconciliations
  • Support wards and departments with administrative tasks

This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.

About you

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Competence with computer systems and data entry
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
  • Knowledge of bicultural issues and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
  • High level of professionalism and integrity

Desirable: Knowledge of health systems and touch typing skills.
