Coordinator – Sub-Regional Urology Service, Palmerston North Regional Hospital, Fixed-term, 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week)

About the Role

As the Coordinator, you will lead the day-to-day coordination of the Sub-Regional Urology Service, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient service delivery across three districts. You'll work closely with operational leads and clinical teams to embed new processes, manage clinics and theatre access, and support compliance with Health Target Plans.

This role demands strong organisational skills, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach to achieve equity and excellence in planned care.

About the Team/Service

Palmerston North Regional Hospital operates the Sub-Regional Urology Service across MidCentral, Whanganui, and Wairarapa districts, providing acute and planned care, surgery, outpatient clinics, and diagnostic services. The service follows a “Hub and Spoke” model to deliver care closer to home.
