About the Role


Join a passionate team dedicated to improving women's health across the central North Island. As a 
Medical Imaging Technologist with BreastScreen Coast to Coast and the Breast Imaging Service. You'll 
deliver essential mammography services – with full training provided if needed. This is a great 
opportunity to grow your skills, travel, and be part of a supportive purpose- driven team.


About the Team


At BreastScreen Coast to Coast and the Breast Imaging Service, you'll be part of a dedicated, client 
focused team that's passionate about delivering high – quality care. We work together to support 
women through both screening and diagnostic services, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, 
adaptability, and community outreach. Whether based in Palmerston North or travelling with our mobile 
unit, our team is united by a shared commitment to improving health outcomes across the central North 
Island.


About you


You're somebody who brings both heart and skill to your work. Whether you're experienced in 
mammography or ready to learn, you're motivated by the opportunity to support women's health and 
be part of a team that makes a difference


You'll thrive in this role if you


• Hold a recognised qualification in Medical Imaging Technology and a current APC
• Are enthusiastic about women's health and making a positive impact
• Work well in a collaborative, client- focused team
• Are flexible and open to travel, including rostered time away from home.
• Have a full driver licence and are physically fit for the demands of screening 
• Are willing to complete postgraduate mammography training if not already done
