Our Emergency Department sees a diverse range of patients and clinical presentations, offering the ideal environment for nurses who are ready to expand their scope and make a real impact. You will work in a fast-paced setting alongside a collaborative team of ED nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals.

We're seeking Registered Nurses with a passion for acute care, strong clinical decision-making skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure situations

About you

Required:

  • Registered Nurse with current APC (New Zealand Nursing Council)
  • Minimum of 1 year post-graduate nursing experience
  • Commitment to working within a multi-disciplinary team

Preferred (but not essential):

  • Previous Emergency Department or acute care experience
  • Postgraduate qualifications or professional development in Emergency Nursing, Acute Care, or Advanced Life Support
  • Triage training (e.g. ATS or equivalent)
  • TNCC, or similar trauma training
  • Competency in IV cannulation, phlebotomy, ECG, and medication management
  • Confidence with electronic documentation systems

We support ongoing professional development and will consider candidates who are passionate about ED nursing and keen to grow their skills in this area.
