About the Role
Are you a skilled and motivated clinician ready to take your career in a new direction? We're expanding our innovative Early Supported Discharge service to include weekends hours, and we're looking for passionate professionals to join our team at Palmerston North hospital. In this fast-paced role, you'll play a key part in enhancing patient recovery by supporting early discharge and delivering rehabilitation in the comfort of the patient's home.

About you
You're a confident and compassionate clinician with a passion for helping people regain independence. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy working collaboratively, and bring a flexible, can – do attitude to weekend work. With strong clinical reasoning and a commitment topatient care, you're ready to make a real impact, supporting recovery where it matters most: at home
We are looking for an occupational therapist who:
- Effective written, oral and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- New Zealand registered Occupational Therapist, with a current practicing certificate
- Holds Enable NZ Accredited Assessor status, Service Accredited or eligible to become accredited with appropriate training
- A full, current, driver's licence is essential
- Holds relevant residency status to work in New Zealand
