About the Role
The Medical Assessment and Planning Unit newly built 20-bed dedicated area for acute medical patients. The emphasis will be on rapid patient assessment and treatment with the aim of either an early discharge, or a clear plan of care on admissions.
As our Ward Clerk you will be responsible for providing support to the clinical team in this busy work environment. Therefore, we are looking for a professional who has the ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and demand, and is enthusiastic, polite, empathetic, timely and reliable.

About you
As a Ward Clerk, you must be able to think on your feet and thrive in a fast passed environment. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess but not limited to the following:
- Proven experience in a people-facing administration role.
- Proficient knowledge of computer programmes.
- Accuracy and confidentiality
- Integrity and trust
- Respect and collaboration
- Delivering an exemplary standard of admin support to the team
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines/KPI's
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility, and willingness to be a team player
