We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead and deliver health-focused programmes that drive equity, innovation, and improved outcomes for our communities. About the Role

As Programme Manager, you will:

• Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of health improvement programmes across local, regional, and national levels.
• Work collaboratively with clinicians, iwi-Māori partnership boards, community providers, and internal teams to co-design solutions that improve health outcomes.
• Apply recognised programme and project management methodologies to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organisational priorities.
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement in health service delivery.
• Support and mentor project teams, fostering capability and leadership in programme management.

About You

To be successful for this role you will need:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the health sector and/or managing health-related programmes.
• Proven ability to lead complex programmes in a healthcare environment.
• Strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to equity in health outcomes.
• Recognised programme/project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP) or equivalent experience.
• Skilled in improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Model for Improvement).
• Exceptional relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate change and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
