Registered Nurse, District Nursing Service at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral, Manawatu / Whanganui

About the Role

This position is primarily based in Otaki but covers the Horowhenua region (Otaki, Levin and Foxton) of MidCentral.

Our team delivers a broad range of specialised nursing care across the MidCentral region, operating from seven sites between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, seven days a week. We're a dynamic, supportive team committed to delivering high-quality care in a community setting, and we take pride in our well-established focus on continuous service improvement and innovation. 

We're seeking team players who bring not only advanced clinical expertise, but also outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. If you're passionate about making a tangible difference in people's lives, we want to hear from you.

About you

To thrive in this role, you'll need up-to-date knowledge and strong skills in at least one of the following key areas: 

  • Wound Care 
  • Palliative Care 
  • Intravenous Therapy 
  • Continence Management 
  • Community Care

Also

  • PDRP Level 3 (or committed to working towards)
  • A current practising certificate and full NZ driver's licence are essential
