We are looking for a motivated therapy assistant to join a dynamic and progressive team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and therapy assistants.

 

Therapy assistants are an integral part of the healthcare team. This role is aimed to support therapy clinicians and patients during their rehabilitation journey at Whanganui DHB. You will work across areas from the acute surgical and medical wards, AT&R and ASU rehabilitation ward, outpatient ERAS pre- and post-operation rehabilitation classes, short-term loan department and with a future focus into community rehabilitation and integration with community services. This allows you to gain experience across a wide range of conditions at different stages of rehabilitation, whilst being supported by an integrative multi-disciplinary team.
