Whanganui Hospital Emergency Department is currently seeking applications for enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses to join our dedicated team on permanent and fixed term contracts.

 

Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to provide patient and whānau centred care to the people of our community, whilst continually bringing a positive, enthusiastic attitude to our working environment every day.

 

If you are a Registered Nurse with a positive attitude, who shares our collective passion for delivering exceptional service, and you love the adrenaline charge of working in this type of environment, we want to hear from you!

 

This role will be challenging but equally just as rewarding!

 

Ko koe tēnei | About you

 

To be considered you will ideally bring the following demonstrated skills to our multidisciplinary emergency department team:

 

  • Relevant post-graduate nursing experience, Minimum of 2 years consolidated nursing practice.
  • A strong customer-focused approach to acute patient care.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with both staff and patients family/whānau
  • Desire to consistently deliver optimal patient care.
  • Emergency Nursing experience desirable skills. ie: Triage, ACLS and or clinical experience in this area
