Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatū, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.
Te Uru Rauhi, Mental Health and Addiction Services at MidCentral DHB have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a level of contemporary knowledge and skill in the assessment and rehabilitation of mental health presentations within a community setting. The role will also include the capacity to be part of a new model of care Te Mātāpuna o te Ora which focuses on an integrated treatment approach.
