The Opportunity

Are you a House Officer (PGY2, 3^rd quarter) or Senior House Officer looking for an opportunity to work in Paediatrics?

MidCentral District, located in Palmerston North City could be the perfect place for you!

Palmerston North Hospital is offering a 3, 6 or 12 month run in Paediatrics and actively promotes strong candidates to registrar positions.

MidCentral District provides an excellent grounding for house officers looking to grow and develop their skills. There is a 14 bed neonatal unit which caters for babies from 28 weeks or 1000gms. The Children's Ward sees a wide range of admission. Registrars participate in a range of ward, neonatal and clinic work. Tertiary support is available from Starship and includes outpatient clinics from visiting SMOs from Starship.
