We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude with great problem-solving skills to join our team in the National training Centre.
Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role:
The Coordinator Learning Facilities position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support services for allocated facilities, training programmes and courses. Coordinator Learning Facilities lead our customer service ethos and work collaboratively with our Training colleagues to delivery our Training Strategy.
- Welcoming visitors to the facility and ensuring quality customer service is provided in all interactions.
- Providing technical equipment and communication systems support, as required
- Working with management to improve administration systems and procedures in line with Business Excellence principles.
- Administering course and programme support for career and volunteer firefighters.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service.
Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you'll bring to the role:
This role provides general administrative support to the general running of the Training Centre, which includes but is not limited to; receptionist duties, correspondence, maintaining stationery supplies, setting up of training rooms, organising catering, maintaining, and updating of databases and intranet sites, organising inwards and outwards mail, courier and freight requirements and preparation of training materials.
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will:
- Have experience and knowledge of accounts receivable and payable, financial reporting and budget processes including the use of an accounting package.
- Have demonstrated event management experience or experience in the coordination of events
- Experience within a training environment
- Have a knowledge of modern office administration procedures and current best practice. Minimum intermediate level in the MS suite of applications
- Experience and knowledge of a Learning Management System and/or other databases
