Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role
Our team purpose is helping the organisation to do the right thing – kia tika. This is a team that works closely together to meet our statutory obligations in tight timeframes. As an advisor, you work with the rest of the team and our subject matter experts to respond to information requests. You will build relationships across the organisation, apply the Official Information Act and Privacy Act, draft letters, and provide support.

To be successful in this position you will be adept at building collaborative working relationships with a wide range of people and organisations. You will have excellent time management skills and attention to detail. This position gives you a chance to use your critical thinking and analytical skills.
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have:
- A background in OIA requests or exposure to and understanding of OIA requests
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A desire to learn and contribute
- Great relationship management skills

The salary range for this role is $81,524 - $90,583 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
