Job Description

Southland Hospital

  • Permanent 1.0FTE (40 hours per week)

Picture this, you're a NZ registered physiotherapist working in a supportive relaxed friendly team environment committed to quality patient centred care. You feel excited to come to work every day and think to yourself how did you land such a great job?! Your work life balance is relaxed, affordable, you have high quality living, and on weekends you have an array of outdoor and recreational pursuits such as skiing, hunting, tramping, and so much all within two hours!

Sound awesome? Well it is! If you know this is what you need, then welcome!

We are looking for enthusiastic Physiotherapists who enjoy working as part of a supportive team. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are driven and proactive in developing and learning new skills.

As an experienced clinician we are looking for someone who can work autonomously, manage and prioritise a caseload within the inpatient settings and is keen to develop on-going advanced skills. We provide support for students, new graduates and rotational staff.

We take pride in supporting our staff to grow as clinicians, so we run a well-developed on-going support and professional development programme. The team provides regular in-services, senior staff mentoring and peer review, a comprehensive on-call competency training framework and access to course and conference funding.

There are 40 hours per week available and experienced clinicians wishing to work part-time hours will also be considered.

Closing date: Saturday, 11 May 2019.
