About the role - what's in it for me?

A fantastic fixed-term opportunity has become available for an experienced NZ Registered Nurse to join our friendly and supportive Maternity Ward team based at Southland Hospital in Invercargill.

We require a Registered Nurse with substantial experience working with families and preferably experience within a maternity ward or paediatric setting. Breast-feeding experience preferable but not essential as training will be given.

To succeed in this role you will need to:

  • possess excellent assessment skills
  • have a passion and focus for working with families/whanau with compassion and kindness
  • be an exceptional team player who has strong communication skills.

This is a casual position and you will need to be available for a variety of rostered shifts.
