Platform Manager - CRM and Business Automation at Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington - Wairarapa

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and strategic Platform Manager to lead the evolution and performance of our CRM and business automation platforms. This role is pivotal in driving platform excellence, enabling business outcomes, and ensuring seamless collaboration across delivery teams.

While this role does not have direct reports, you will leverage a cross-functional team of developers, testers, and business analysts to deliver impactful solutions. You'll act as the central point of coordination, prioritising work, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring the platform delivers value across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the enterprise roadmap and backlog for the CRM and business automation platforms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into platform capabilities.
  • Prioritise and manage delivery through agile practices, working closely with developers, testers, and BAs.
  • Ensure platform stability, scalability, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation across the platform.
  • Monitor performance metrics and user feedback to guide enhancements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and licensing where applicable.

About You

  • Proven experience managing CRM or business automation platforms (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Power Platform).
  • Strong understanding of agile delivery and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Comfortable managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
