This role

Our Start-Up and Corporate Venturing sector is the group of organisations involved in the high-risk stage of early company development where ideas or research get translated into commercial opportunities.

As the Start-Up Programme Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Identifying common needs and sponsoring the creation of new programmes to address these gaps/needs within the Start-up ecosystem
  • Identifying opportunities, designing vehicles to share experiences and learnings to lift the output of the incubator
  • Organizing meet-ups, international delegations, reviewing existing programmes including C-Price to benchmark and to look at how others operates and perform in the field

To be successful you will have the following attributes and skills:

  • Proven experience in programme and project management, development and governance, ideally within the Start-Up incubator ecosystem
  • Proven track record of bring together multi-disciplined solutions-oriented teams to provide client solutions
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills, including proven ability to negotiate
  • Proven expertise in business, productivity and continuous improvement techniques for business processes
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business
  • Proven ability to work with complexity, ambiguity and constraints
  • Ability to manage competing demands and determine priorities
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Sound judgement and makes consistently good decisions
  • Solid understanding of putting the customer at the heart of everything they do
  • Be able to contribute to team strategy sessions and be able to take ownership of one or more of the outcomes
