About the role

We're looking for a GIQ Revit Specialist to join our team and take part in collaborating on the development and creation of a 'digital twin' for the GIQ site through the provision of an accurate digital representation of the architectural, structural and building services across our GIQ buildings and site infrastructure.

In this role you will work with the Design team (including experts in architecture/workplace design, civil design, service engineering, asset management, 3D rendering and graphic design) to contribute to the creation of a 'digital twin' to be used as a tool for stakeholder engagement, 3D capital design works and asset management. In addition to the creation of this tool, you will also be responsible for the development of policies, procedures and standards to support the creation of a fit for purpose model.

Additional responsibilities also include the following:

  • Support both the tactical capital and strategic programme works
  • Ensure our Information Management Standards are understood and aligned
  • Be responsible for the generation of a fully parametric BIM catalogue
  • Document 3D design developed for tactical estates and strategic programmes

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline or proven work experience within the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry
  • Approximately 10 years experience working in the AEC industry
  • Excellent track record of delivering successful outcomes in a team within a complex delivery environment
  • Significant experience with Autodesk products including Revit Architecture and Revit MEP
  • LINZ Metadata standards experience desirable
  • Well-developed critical thinking, problem solving skills and analytical capability
  • Proven professional with credibility to engage effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve issues and manage risk
