Performance Analyst Salary Range: $78,594.00 - $106,332.00

Senior Performance Analyst Salary Range: $85,829.00 - $116,123.00

Evidence-Based Policing (EBP) is about using information, crime-science and problem-solving methods to ensure that proven approaches and tactics inform our choices, are seen in the results, and provide confidence that what we do works.


EBP presents an opportunity for New Zealand Police to embed an evidence base into all of our operations. This is an opportunity to contribute to the formation of the newly created EBP Service Centre.


Under the leadership of Director EBP, the Evidence-Based Policing Centre is composed of several work groups.


Our EBP Group is made up of the following groups:

• Performance and Research Insights

• Implementation and Evaluation

• Continuous Improvement

• Data Science


We have an opportunity for you to join our Evidence Based Policing Centre working as part of the National Performance Team. You will perform a pivotal role in advising and contributing to the development of Police's performance systems, including advising on the development of performance measures, and providing advice around performance to Police and external stakeholders. This is a dynamic and challenging position where you will be expected to provide strategic advice on organisational performance within public sector or other comparable organisations.


Other key attributes to ensure success in this role is the ability to think outside the box, the ability to provide insights into performance improvement, and the ability to lead project teams across business units.
