Callaghan Innovation has developed an exciting Scale-Up NZ programme which involves businesses being digitally profiled to enable connections with experts, locally and internationally. Its success relies on accurate profiles detailing business purpose, innovation strategies, sectors, technologies and stages. This will ensure users can accurately find and connect with support partners that have the right expertise for them.

Reporting to the Strategic Platforms and Operations Manager, the Superconnector Data Analyst will be accountable for the data integrity of the system. Working with data partners, suppliers and businesses you will ensure their profiles are an accurate representation of their current state and future needs. You will also be responsible for supporting related initiatives as needed, relating to customer-facing digital platforms.

To be successful you will have the following attributes and skills:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or two-plus years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong online research skills and lateral thinking capabilities
  • Robust analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to self-manage, use initiative and juggle competing demands
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including networking
  • Detail-oriented and demonstrate strong analytical skill
  • Ability to quickly and comprehensively attain fluency in new domains
  • An interest in start-ups, venture capital, and entrepreneurship programmes
  • Previous experience with continuous improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge and experience with SQL would be advantageous
