Salary Range: $49,158 - $66,507

The Police Infringement Bureau (PIB) contributes to the effort to reduce death and serious injury on our roads under the umbrella of the National Road Policing Centre. It is part of the National Operations Group whose purpose is to deliver 'Our Business' through coordinated national services.


We have an opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about providing high quality infringement services to members of the public to join our team.


As a Payment Support Officer, you will work with a high performing and supportive team, responsible for identifying problem payments in relation to infringement notices and deciding the best course of action to resolve the problem. The payment team works collaboratively within the wider Police Infringement Bureau team and with external partner agencies to identify and resolve problems.     


Skills & Experience:

  • Experienced administration skills
  • Able to manage high volume processing
  • Exposure to processing payments
  • Exposure to working with excel spreadsheets and identifying trends
  • Customer service experience
  • Follow guidelines and procedures to make informed decisions


Additional Information:

  • The start date for this role for training purposes is Monday 25th November 2019 and successful candidates ideally need to be available to work over Christmas holidays.
