CONTRACTS ADVISER      

Creative New Zealand encourages, promotes and supports the arts in New Zealand for the benefit of all New Zealanders through funding, capability building, international programmes and advocacy.  Creative New Zealand offers financial support for emerging and established artists, art practitioners, groups and organisations.

This is a very rare opportunity to join this well-known and highly respected New Zealand organisation.  You will be part of the Investment Services team which is responsible for providing exceptional client service and delivering Creative New Zealand's investments in arts infrastructure through core investment programmes.

On behalf of Creative New Zealand, we are looking for an individual who is passionate about the Arts and who is values-driven, collaborative and has the ability to deliver a high level of customer service to their valued clients.

Reporting to the Manager Investment Services you will be responsible for the drafting, compliance tracking and monitoring of funding contracts relating to clients in their programmes and schemes. 

To be considered for this opportunity you will have the following skills and experience:

  • experience in contract management including drafting, negotiating, compliance and reporting
  • strong understanding and working knowledge of the grants process or similar processes in other organisations
  • outstanding organisational skills
  • demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external clients
  • commitment to continuous business improvement
