We are a new Ministry committed to putting vulnerable children and young people at the heart of everything we say and do.

Our residential facility, Korowai Manaaki, is a 24 hours, 7 days per week operation that provides services to New Zealand's most challenging and vulnerable young people, 14 - 17 years of age. We have 46-beds in our secure residence. We work to keep our young people connected to the positive influences in their lives - mentors, whanau, work and community based programmes.

As the Team Leader Support Services at Korowai Manaaki you will coordinate the provision of internal administration and business support functions to help the residence run smoothly.

To succeed in this role you need:

  • Proven expertise leading or managing an administration team
  • A good understanding of New Zealand OH&S legislation
  • Experience producing and analysing financial and administration reports
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Advanced level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Computer and web navigation literacy
  • Full clean driver's licence.

In return we offer:

  • Induction and training
  • Coaching and development
  • Salary range $53,232 to $75,085 per annum (in line with skills and experience)
  • The opportunity to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable rangatahi.
