Customer Service Representatives - Senior Services Contact Centre



Wellington-based (Willis Street)


Mix of Permanent and Fixed Term (12 months) opportunities



We are looking for Customer Service Representatives (CSR's) for the Senior Services Contact Centre to start work from late November.  The Senior Services Contact Centre helps with mainly elderly clients, taking inbound phone enquires for New Zealand Superannuation, Veterans Pension, Overseas Pensions, SuperGold Card, and the Community Services Card. We also maintain a close working relationship with our colleagues who process work for our clients. 



As a CSR you are the prime point of contact for our clients. You are responsible for engaging with clients to determine their need, accurately process actions in a timely manner, and maintain appropriate client records.



You will be working in an environment that is fast-paced and one that responds to a diverse range of people with a variety of needs. Therefore, you will need to build rapport quickly with clients, have the ability to work well under pressure, and be able to maintain composure and resilience in emotional situations as some of the client needs are complex.



The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Demonstrates the ability to provide great customer service
  • Maintain business standards for behaviours and professionalism
  • Effective interpersonal and team skills
  • A good level of computer literacy and key board skills
  • A good level of numeracy and literacy skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work within a defined and structured environment i.e. working to a roster and adhering to work breaks.
