Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga is New Zealand's leading Heritage organisation. 

Heritage New Zealand has exciting short and long term growth plans to increase the profile of heritage nationally.  The Organisational Development team is responsible for leading and delivering a range of organisational projects with varying levels of complexity and risk, including major and minor capital expenditure initiatives.  

Reporting to the Director Organisational Development, the Project Advisor will contribute by working closely with senior staff to scope, specify, plan, procure, implement and manage allocated projects, including input and advice from appropriate specialists.

Specific key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Planning, implementing and managing major capital and development projects;
  • Planning, negotiating and managing procurement processes to ensure effective delivery of project plans;
  • Monitoring and managing project schedules and reporting against planned activity identifying risk and mitigation options. 

We are looking for an experienced, successful project advisor.  The proven ability to help develop a significant, growing, focused business is an essential requirement.  Candidates will have the ability to work with and support management, property leads and support staff.  Previous experience in property management is likely to provide benefits in this role.
