Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role
The Communications Coordinator supports the National Manager Communications and Engagement and the wider communications and engagement team by providing a range of support including diary and email management, tracking key deliverables, managing the teams' financial processes, and coordinating travel arrangements. You will also have opportunities to work on projects in different spaces, including high profile events.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Support your manager through diary and inbox management, organising travel bookings, and other support as required
- Effectively manage shared inboxes
- Oversee the team's financial administration processes
- Support key meetings with agenda development, minute taking and various other support.

In this role, you will need to be flexible and have a can-do attitude. We are looking for someone who is confident, organised, and good at following through. This role would suit someone looking to develop a career in administration or project management or an administrator who has an interest in communications.
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will:
- Experience providing administration or coordination support
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate, identify and solve problems
- Really good organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong attention to detail
- Great time management skills and with the ability to work to deadlines
- The ability to work as a cohesive part of a busy team.
