Client Experience Analyst

The Ministry of Social Development touches the lives of over a million New Zealanders every year. We are looking for a Client Experience Analyst that will help us drive a step-change in how the Ministry captures the voice of the client and uses this to improve our services.

This role will suit an individual who can demonstrate:

  • Experience with client or customer experience design and journey mapping, experience with Behavioral Insights would also be beneficial
  • Experience in CX/UX testing
  • Experience with person-centred Co-Design workshops and interviews, preferably having demonstrated Maori cultural competency and/or fluency in Te Reo
  • Experience working across teams or on cross-disciplinary teams to deliver outcomes

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team of high performers. We are a new team with high expectations from our leadership team to improve how we work with clients and change the culture of the Ministry. We are establishing new client experience principles for our service delivery and redeveloping how we gather clients' voices. This work will include working closely with business units across the country to create a culture and practice of continuous service improvement.

You should have a high degree of computer literacy, including the use of graphics in conveying complex information and have the ability to translate technical information in a way that is easily understood by different audiences. We operate in a dynamic and responsive environment so the ability to deliver under pressure and deal with ambiguity is crucial.
