Join our team in this Administration Officer role, delivering high quality and on-time administrative support to our Housing Processing Unit based in Ellerslie. 

You enjoy working as part of a dynamic team and are able to work well under pressure while prioritising and multi-tasking in a busy environment.  Most of all, you pride yourself on your great customer service skills and high attention to detail. You must be able to demonstrate experience in providing advanced administration support, preferably within a large public or private sector organisation.

You are proficient across a broad range of office administration functions including financial and personnel administration and practical experience working with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook and other software packages. 

Preference is given to those who have skill and work experience in the following areas:


  • High level of competence with the Microsoft Suite, particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint  and Excel
  • Experience in an admin support role or provision of team focused support services
  • Demonstrated ability and skills in design, layout and publishing
  • Experience in maintaining and improving office systems
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

This is an ANZSCO level 4/5 role, so applications are only accepted from NZ citizens and NZ permanent residents.  This is a fulltime permanent position, working 7.5 hours per day between the business hours of 7.00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
