A fixed term opportunity has arisen for the role of Executive Assistant to the Deputy Chief Executive, People.
Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role
As the Executive Assistant to the DCE People you'll focus on providing a first-rate support service. You'll be organising their busy schedule and acting as a first point of contact on their behalf. Your flair for organisation, time management, communication and stakeholder engagement will shine, as you efficiently manage a high workload and a busy diary and respond to enquiries– essentially doing whatever's needed.
This is a fixed term opportunity through to 30 June 2027.

To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have:
- Experience in providing exceptional support at an executive level, so your professionalism and adaptability will match this position's importance, diversity and pace
- Some experience in, or understanding of, people, practices in large, complex organisations
- Experience in expertly managing and influencing on behalf of your DCE
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team within the People Branch leadership team network to deliver exceptional support
- The ability to demonstrate initiative and a positive approach to problem solving
- A passion for being part of a team focused on delivering a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all Fire and Emergency personnel
The salary range for this role is $83,155 - $92,394 depending on your skills and experience
