Community Liaison Advisor - Canterbury

 

Permanent, Full Time

 

Based in the Canterbury Regional Office - Christchurch

About the role

Reporting into the Regional Commissioner, you will manage Canterbury's requirements for image and reputation related issues including: media liaison, stakeholder engagement, marketing and events.

 

The Community Liaison Advisor is responsible for the coordination and management of regional publications production ensuring there is a planned, proactive approach to content. Writing copy and media responses will form a large part of the role and you will be a confident and effective communicator. As an avid user of digital channels you are able to gather insights to support seasonal campaigns, key initiatives and apply digital web principles to drive online engagement.

 

About you

This role suits an experienced communications professional with core experience in marketing who is able to manage competing demands and de-escalate reputational and brand risks with ease.

 

You will have exposure working across multiple digital channels with proven ability to pull insights to measure success and engagement.

 

You enjoy using your initiative, looking for and acting on opportunities and solving problems.

A full driver's licence is essential as regional travel is required.
